Have you ever wanted to know what archaeologists do? How we know where to dig? What we look for on the ground? And how we tell our Palaeolithic from our post-medieval? This autumn we are going back to basics, investigating what we know - and how we know what we know - by looking at archaeological techniques, discoveries and real finds from British digs.
