The course comprises 2 units: Interpreting Texts and Responding to Creative Texts. The former involves developing the skills of reading different kinds of text for information and for meaning. The latter involves responses to prose and poetry. The skills are relevant to a variety of work and family situations and will also help develop interpreting skills in preparation for GCSE. Free for anyone without GCSE Grade A*-C in English Language
