Learning for Work (Level 1)

This course covers a range of academic and social topics, which will provide students with the qualities needed for employment. The course offers English, Maths, ICT and a range of units to build on work skills and students will be expected to take part in a work placement. Students can build on prior learning in order to be able to progress to employment or further study by providing a combination of valuable skills. Students must be committed to a full-time programme of study, have good communication skills and be able to work independently. Please note that because of national education developments this course may be replaced by a similar programme of study.
