Higher National Diploma in Animal Management

If you have a real passion for working with animals, you will discover a wide choice of occupations in what is a thriving and varied sector. This course gives you a solid introduction to all aspects of animal management to prepare you for a highly successful career.  The programme has been designed to give you the right aptitude and attitude to work within the animal management sector. You will develop your hands-on skills and theoretical knowledge through a fascinating range of academic study, practical classes and industrial visits. Upon successful completion of this Level 4 programme, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to pursue a new career - or advance an existing one - in a wide variety of animal management fields. Alternatively this programme provides an ideal platform to study Level 5 and 6 programmes specialising in a wide variety of subjects such as conservation, animal management or animal behaviour. The programme will provide excellent practical skills, enabling you to develop necessary industrial experience with a wide variety of animal species. This course is delivered at our Broomfield Hall Campus three days per week.
