It is important to have strong observational drawing skills. The course is an excellent opportunity for students who have a particular aptitude for art design and craft based work and wish to take these skills to a higher level. The vocational route offers students the opportunity to develop their expertise in a range of mediums and students should be ready to face new challenges. Students should also understand that the course demands after-school work in the department to complete a portfolio.
