A Mathematics A Level can lead to any number of educational and career opportunities. It is a highly respected qualification and Maths A Level students and graduates are in high demand by employers. Maths is required for many university courses such as Physics, Engineering and Economics. David Willetts MP, when speaking as the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills said: “In terms of future jobs and career opportunities, A Level Maths scores more highly than just about anything else.” Mathematics is a very successful and popular subject at A level with 89% of last year's cohort achieving grades A* - C and 80% achieving grades A* - B.
