In Classical Civilisation, you develop your critical and evaluative skills by analysing evidence of different kinds from the material studied about the worlds of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome. You learn about the differences and similarities between the Classical world and later times and thus gain sensitivity to past societies whose spiritual, cultural and moral values and priorities contrast with those of the modern western world.
