This course is aimed at students who are interested in a future career as a make-up artist and focuses on the principles and practical skills required to work in the make-up industry. Within this course you will learn about working in beauty related industries, how to follow health & safety in the salon and about client care and communication. You will also study units such as applying make-up, body art design, the art of photographic make-up and eyelash and brow treatments. Other units include how to create an image based on a theme within the hair & beauty sector, the art of colouring and dressing hair, making and styling a hair addition and applying manual and spray skin tanning.
