The course is an introduction to making money from wild food and foraging, as such you will: Research the regulations necessary in order to sell home made goods Calculate costs of goods produced Identify edible wild food Learn how to cook, prepare and preserve wild food Understand how to forage sustainably, safety guidelines, and the law You may need to bring additional food items for recipes. You will need sensible footwear, an apron, 2 tea towels, a dish cloth, a file with clear plastic wallets, a pen and containers to carry your goods in. This course is run at De Brus Local Learning Centre, Skelton and is a new course available this year
