Who is this course for? People who speak a language other than English as their first language and are learning English as an adult and whose writing skills have been assessed as below Entry 3 and in need of a session focussed on improving writing. What will I learn on this course? You will improve your skills in writing English in a general context and to help you pass the functional skills writing qualification. How will I learn? You will do lots of activities individually, in pairs and small groups, as well as with the whole class. What qualifications will I gain? The session has no separate accreditation but will help support achieving the OCR Functional Skills Cert in English on the Everyday English course. What could this course lead to? This course could lead to a higher level course in ESOL with us or another provider, other education or training and enable you to find a job or get a better job. Can I join anytime? You can join anytime if there is a space in the class.
