Successful completion of the 2 day in centre skills test and VQ assessment is a mandatory element of the CISRS scheme. Method Of Delivery Practical Skills Test/Assessment Entry Requirements Must have completed the CISRS Advanced course followed by a minimum 6 month time gap/site experience. Who Is It For? Scaffolders working towards Advanced CISRS status. NVQ Advanced Assessment is appropriate for those who have completed the advanced course and possess a minimum of six months site experience. Aim To achieve NVQ Level 3 through assessment. Objectives Trainees competence will be assessed in the following areas: Interpreting instructions and information - Producing material lists and method statements Selecting and checking components The practical erection and dismantling of a tubular slung scaffold and a raking shore The practical erection and dismantling of a drop scaffold from steel work Through questioning it will be possible to infer competence across the remaining structures covered in the relevant NVQ units.
