Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Animal Care

Interested in a career working with animals when you earn while you learn? This advanced apprenticeship enables you to combine study at college with on-the-job experience at either a dog groomers, boarding kennel/cattery or pet shop developing skills in planning and implementing a range of activities which focus on the health and well-being of animals. There will be a supervisory nature for part of the job role.

Name: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Animal Care Qualification title: Young Apprenticeship/Apprenticeship at Level 2 Qualification type: Apprenticeship Assessment Assessment will be continuous through oral and written tests, assignments and practical work. Practical assessment will take place both in the work place and in college. An assessor will visit you in the workplace to monitor your progress. Certification will be accredited on completion of your portfolio of evidence and achievement of Functional Skills at level 2 or equivalent.
