Who is the course for? Students considering a career in Art and Design and wishing to study art and design related courses at university. Extended Diploma students can choose to study on a specific pathway that will lead to their chosen career; Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, Fashion Design and Styling, Photography, Graphic Design and Illustration. What can it lead to? This course can lead to a variety of careers within Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, Fashion Design and Styling, Photography, Graphic Design and Illustration. What will I study? Each pathway will essentially develop your understanding of your chosen career, and help you to prepare an appropriate portfolio for university. You will learn through practical and critical activities to express and gain knowledge of the different areas by creating sketchbooks full of research, ideas and development. You will also design and make final pieces using specialist materials and equipment specific to each pathway.
