This apprenticeship is designed for learners employed as a supervisor in hospitality roles such as housekeeping, bar, reception, conference facilities or restaurant that need to develop and consolidate their skills. You are required to take five mandatory units which cover aspects of developing productive working relationships, setting objectives for team members, controlling resources, maintaining health and safety and improving customer service. You then have a choice of a wide range of optional units allowing the apprenticeship to be tailored to meet the needs of their own work role. In addition to the Diploma, you will study for the Award in Hospitality Supervision & Leadership Principles, employment rights and responsibilities, personal learning and thinking skills. As part of the Apprenticeship you will also be required to work towards Functional Skills in Maths and English.
