This apprenticeship is designed for individuals employed in Hospitality roles such as bar people, conference and banqueting assistant or waiters/waitresses who need to develop or consolidate their skills. You are required to take three mandatory units which cover aspects of maintaining a safe, hygienic and secure working environment, working effectively as part of a hospitality team, giving customers a positive impression. You then have a choice of a wide range of optional units covering different beverage areas such as bar service, allowing you to choose units to meet the needs of their own work role.In addition to the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beverage Service, you will also study the Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality & Catering Principles (Beverage Service), employment rights and responsibilities plus personal learning & thinking skills. As part of the Apprenticeship you will also be required to work towards Functional Skills in Maths and English.
