Provides a two year full time educational and football development programme for selected players aged between 16 and 18 years. The primary goals for the Borough Academy programme is to firstly provide its players with an opportunity to develop their footballing abilities through the Academies holistic, multi - disciplinary approach with a view to progressing the clubs young, home - grown players into the Eastbourne Borough FC 1st team squad. And secondly to on an educational level give students the opportunity to study a broad choice of A Level subjects and or BTEC courses alongside their individual full time football programme to provide players with the academic qualifications required to open up and make available the preferred future educational pathways. Eastbourne Borough FC is dedicated to developing not just players but more importantly people, who irrelevant of the potential outcomes are well - rounded, disciplined and respectful individuals who have fully committed themselves to the club, the Academy, the college and the education programme throughout the duration of their time at Eastbourne Borough FC, we therefore strive to encourage and create a warm, caring and considerate environment where all supporters, staff and players matter, always ensuring that everyone associated or in contact with the club are treated with respect, are provided with the correct assistance when required and are consistently provided with the appropriate encouragement and support so that their respective goals can be achieved.
