This course aims to give you an understanding of upholstery techniques. It is for anyone from beginners to advanced in all standards of upholstery. During the course we will aim to cover basic upholstery skills including learning to recover or re - upholster your own furniture, modern or antique, cutting and stitching by hand techniques. By the end of the course you will have an understanding of basic upholstery and be able to work to a professional standard in this practical class. You will need to bring a small item of furniture to upholster. An information sheet will be sent to you prior to the first class giving details of materials and equipment you will need.
