Are you a professional with specialist knowledge, skills and experience in a vocational area? Are you keen to share your passion with others, but have no experience of teaching? Teacher's Toolkit is a short online course, suitable for first entry into teacher training. It will give you general understanding of facilitating learning for adult learners. In unit 1 of the Toolkit, "Adult learning", you will find out about the characteristics of adults learners, their motivations and their barriers to learning. You can then progress to units 2, 3 and 4 that make up the Teacher's Toolkit programme. This unit requires you to engage in approx 2 hours of independent online study between 12/01/16 and 26/01/16.
