English Skills At Level 1

UPDATED 20151214 13:20:38

Having identified the skills and interests you wish to work on you will work independently on some and work on core skills in groups. This is a good course to brush up reading and note taking skills, cover spelling strategies; some punctuation e.g. good use of commas and develop writing skills. You will also develop your speaking and listening skills for 1:1 and group discussions. There are regular points in the year you can join the class. You should have a qualification or solid skills at Entry Level 3. The learner's journey will be as follows: an induction and skills review period followed by learning assessed by one or two qualifications at level 1. You will need to have had a progression interview or an appointment to see an Education and Careers Adviser before enrolling on this course. Please call 01702 445710 to arrange this.
