Physics is the basis of most of the sciences. This course covers all the major areas of physics applied in the modern world, and builds upon what is covered at GCSE as well as introducing new and interesting topics (e.g. quantum physics, particle accelerators, etc.) The course covers the topics thoroughly and to the standards required for university entry, but also tries to make the subject accessible.
