The course provides an excellent insight into the operating principles of automotive technology as well as including some engineering. By providing you with an understanding of vehicle maintenance at Level 1, this course builds on the foundations for the next level. The design of this course is geared to school leavers with an interest in taking up a trade in the Automotive industry. Your experience on the course will involve hands on practical sessions within the college motor vehicle workshops, along with theory sessions and on-line examinations. During your course of study, you will be involved in demonstrations, practical work, theory lessons, computer sessions, tutorials, project work and work experience.
