This course provides you with opportunities to strengthen your existing information and communications technology knowledge, and to develop a range of skills and techniques essential for successful performance in your future working life or progression onto the next study level. The programme covers the following main modules: Information Technology User Fundamental Skills; Software Fundamental Skills; Using the Internet; Using Email; Improving Productivity; Web Software; Imaging Software; Presentation Graphics; Multimedia; Using Collaborative Technologies; Project Management Software; Setting Up an Information Technology System; and Internet Safety. As a student on this course, you will learn through a mix of workshops, written assignments, formal teaching and self-study. If you have not already gained a C grade for GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics, working towards this will form part of your programme of study.
