C12C27A: The course will enable you to understand more complex lines of argument concerning familiar topics. You will be able to participate in discussions with a degree of fluency and spontaneity and express viewpoints on topical issues. You will have studied the language for some years and may have a GCSE, or have completed a Level 3 course. If you are unsure of your level, please contact your local centre for further assistance. Diagnostic self-assessment sheets are available from the centres and at the website address above. This course is designed to improve and sustain your language skills keeping your mind active and alert.

Name: French - Level 3+ - Conversation - Small Group Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, Other Languages, Literature and Culture Qualification type: Assessment You will be asked to complete an Individual Learning Record (ILR) at the beginning of the course/workshop. The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
