New Year New You - Introduction to Health and Nutrition

This course is designed to study how our digestive system works; learn the truth about the food we eat; the effect the environment has on our bodies and the amount and type of exercise we really need in order to enjoy the best health. Individual records and assessments by a qualified Nutritional Advisor and Dance/Exercise coach aimed to motivate individuals to make small changes on the path to a healthy weight and feeling of wellbeing. Socialising and learning with people with similar objectives has many advantages including group motivation and the optional sharing of experiences.

Entry requirements

Notebook and pen. A4 Lever arch file for personal food diaries, class notes, personal achievement records and shared recipes. A flexible tape measure. Tutor will display books and recommend websites.
