Develop your own ideas, creativity and skills, using a number of different sculpture media including plaster modelling and casting, working with wood, metal and clay to create your own three dimensional works of art.

Name: Explore Sculpture Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, Crafts, Creative Arts and Design Qualification type: Assessment This is a self guided course where learners will develop their own ideas with one to one support from the tutor from design stage to finished sculptures. Learners will work on individual projects with individual feedback from the tutor on their progress. There will be group demonstrations by the tutor of techniques for using different materials, and reference to the work of other artists, historical and contemporary. Entry requirements

Any clay modelling or carving tools you might have, covered sturdy foot ware and an apron or protective clothes. There will be a charge for materials used, as well as kiln firing costs. Tutor will recommend where to get other specific tools or materials not provided by the college.
