This course aims to explore the types of stimulants as well as their physiological effects on the human brain and body. The symptoms and emotional responses of addiction, as well as the effective treatment of addiction will also be explored. Please note that at the beginning of the course learners will take part in an induction to the College and the course. They will be asked to complete an Individual Learning Journey (ILJ) which will help learners reflection and monitor their progress. The tutor will use this information to check learning and plan their lessons.
