ITEC Level 2 Certificate in Manicure has been designed to develop practical skills in nail enhancements and manicure treatments and will enable you to develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practices as well as promoting client care and communications in beauty related sectors.
Name: Manicure: Level 2 Certificate - ITEC Qualification title: Certificate in Manicure (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Tutor demonstration, group work/discussion, powerpoint presentations, interactive whiteboard, handouts, practical skills and practical assessments. For training purposes learners will practice a routine on each other and when proficient and training is complete learners will undertake both formative and summative assessments on paying clientele in a realistic working environment (salon). This qualification will be internally and externally assessed. Once all of the treatment evidence documentation and underpinning knowledge have been completed, the learner will have a final practical examination carried out by the ITEC External Examiner, who will also verify a sample of all treatment evidence documentation.
