This 22 week programme delivered two days per week is intended for students who wish to gain an entry level position in a Digital Creative role. The course is ideal for anyone who wishes to combine a part-time job with a national recognised qualification. The diploma offers a unique programme providing you with the opportunity to gain or build on previous experience to establish your future career aspirations. You will gain first hand essential industry working practice skills and knowledge to help you secure employment. This specialised course provides a broad base of skills and knowledge in the digital retail environment with a particular focus on the user experience (UX) and how this impacts on design and delivery methodology, alongside testing and analytics. In addition you will study creative web design and building, using up-to-date technology and software, and this runs alongside the study of content creating and optimised copy. The rapid rise and increasing importance of the largest ‘shop front’ any brand will now own, their website, as well as the rise in mobile device use, is changing the way we shop. This course will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to ensure businesses keep pace with these changes and maximise sales. The course combines theoretical learning with practical experience and includes a three week placement with a high street fashion brand to cement your knowledge and give you an insight into the real life challenges currently facing the industry.
