Consolidate and build on your knowledge of the language by: Practising dialogues set in typical travel situations Making friends, exchanging and seeking information Ordering, shopping, purchases, requests Accessing services and transport, accommodation Continue to study language structure in order to manipulate the language for yourself Use basic verbs and appropriate time frames Read and respond to letters, notes and messages Read and extract information from menus, leaflets brochures, news Discussing the language and culture of the country or countries You will: Take part in a range of activities to help you understand and use the language to communicate more confidently and effectively. Work individually, in pairs and small groups, as well as with the tutor and the whole class. Role plays, presentations, games, comprehension, listening to recordings, watching video clips and computerbased activities.
