Printing on textiles: screenblock: step 1

We will be using Screenblock; a method which allows for a painterly finish and more finely detailed images either textiles or paper based. You can try out Block printing, creating your own individually carved, wooden or foam blocks. Alongside this you will explore Batik combined with using a range of embellishing materials such as fabric transfer dyes, fabric pens, and crayons

Entry requirements

Bring an item to print onto either craft papers a plain cotton or canvas bag, pillowcase, cushion cover, apron or anything else that you would like to have printed. You might also like to bring in pictures for inspiration. A small charge for the ink usually £13 depending on size Will I need to do anything in my own time?
