Upholstery Workshop

UPDATED 20151204 16:00:03

If your favourite chair has had the stuffing knocked out of it over the years and is in need of some tender loving care, then this course is for you. We will show you how to safely use the tools, such as magnetic tack hammers, tack lifters and web stretchers, to bring new life to your upholstered furniture. The course is suitable for those new to upholstery and those with some experience who wish to improve their skills. For those new to this craft we recommend you start with a small project, e.g. dining chair or stool. The Upholstery Workshop is made up of 3 terms of 10 weeks. Students can enrol at any stage, where places are available. Completion of a project will depend on its size and your level of skills and experience.
