Level 2 Painting and Decorating

This course has been specifically developed to be delivered in a training environment using simulated conditions and the tests are based on the learner showing what they can do as an individual through the completion of all the requirements of the qualification.The Diploma Painting and Decorating level 2 is for students who have previously completed a level 1 course in P&D and is the natural progression. This course is also for those completing an NVQ2 in painting & decorating as the two qualifications can be gained together.

On completion of this diploma, learners may progress into employment or on to one or more of the following:. Level 1 to Level 2 in the same occupation. . Level 2 to Level 3 in the same occupation. . Level 2 or level 3 to technical supervisors and management qualification. For example: . Level 3 Construction Contracting Operations and then on to level 4. . Level 3 Site Supervision and then on to Site Management. . Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision. The level 2 and Level 3 Diploma support the Apprenticeship Framework in England.Employment opportunitiesOn completion of this diploma, learners may progress into employment in P&D, progression onto an L3 Apprenticeship.
