Learning a language with CALAT opens up a world of opportunity. Whether you are a complete beginner, a bit rusty or want to be fluent for business or pleasure, CALAT can offer a course to suit you from beginners to A Level and beyond. Speaking another language will open up your world and extend your horizons as well as enhancing your job prospects. ABC (The Awarding Body) courses are accredited and you compile a small portfolio of assessments, done as part of normal classroom activities and verified by the awarding body concerned. All fees shown include the costs of this accreditation. If you enrol on an accredited course it is expected that you will undertake the exam or assessment as our future funding depends on this. Most non-accredited courses will follow on in the summer term subject to satisfactory numbers. Russian Near Beginners: non-accredited. This non-accredited course follows on from the complete beginners course which ran in the autumn term and assumes you have a small amount of knowledge of both spoken and written Russian.
