By the end of the course students will be able to: Identify and use a personal computer. Launch and exit computer programs correctly. Understand safety issues around computers. Use the keyboard and mouse correctly. Enter, edit and print data correctly. Insert and edit images in documents. Save documents to computers filing system. Create an email account. Send an email, receive, read and reply to an email. Delete emails. Search for information using a variety of search media. Select and present information. Use removable media (e.g. memory sticks). Understand internet safety. Undertake with increased confidence basic computer tasks.
