Fitness Instructing Certificate Level 2

This qualification is aimed at those who want to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry as a fitness instructor in the context of gym-based exercise. You will gain an understanding in anatomy and physiology, how to maintain health, safety and welfare in a variety of fitness environments, including the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. You will also achieve the skills, knowledge and experience of how to programme safe and effective exercise for a range of clients including the health benefits of physical activity and the importance of healthy eating. Included in the fee are two manuals essential for the duration of the course; Mandatory Units Manual and Gym Based Exercise Manual. These manuals contain all the information required to achieve this qualification and will be referred to consistently throughout the course. It is also a requirement to ensure you have practical kit as you will be required to take part in physical activity.
