The course will allow you to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the engineering sector. You will learn how to produce beads on plate in the PA flat position, produce a lap fillet weld in the PB horizontal/vertical position, produce a tee fillet weld in the PA flat position, produce a tee fillet weld in the PB horizontal/vertical position, produce a corner weld in the PA flat position and learn about the process and health & safety requirements for tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding.
