To provide you with a basic grounding in book keeping including writing up cash books, day books and double entry book keeping. This qualification may help you to get a job in an accounting or office environment.. If you successfully complete this course you may progress on to AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounts. This is the first year of a three year set of courses that results in an Accounting Technician qualification. Many of our successful Level 1 Book keeping students progress in this way. You may also want to do the City and Guilds level 1 Computerised accounts alongside this award please see leaflet 1308. This course runs at times that make it possible for you to do both Book keeping and Computerised accounts on the same day.
