This course comprises the three certificates required to become a fully qualified Personal Trainer. The Level 2 Fitness Instructor is a prerequisite but this can be built in for those who do not yet hold this qualification. The course will take place at Newton Abbot Leisure Centre.You will complete the following three certificates that make up the Personal Training qualification: 1. Anatomy and Physiology:This unit covers the essential knowledge an instructor needs about anatomy and physiology relating to exercise programmes for a range of clients.2. Nutrition:You will learn the skills to apply the principles of nutrition to support client goals as part of an exercise and physical activity programme.3. Programming and Delivering Personal Training:You will learn the skills required to design manage adapt and deliver a personal training programme for a range of clients.
