The course will encourage each learner to be creative with clay (or mod-rock). Learners will spend some time researching designs on the internet and complete sketches (including measurements) prior to working with clay. By the end of the course students will be able to: ? Use maths skills and follow verbal instructions to design and create pieces of pottery art. ? Create several pieces of art-work to take home. ? Research ceramics and ceramic design using the internet (home work) . ? Understand how to use materials safely.
