You will learn a range of basic accounting practices and techniques using textbooks online tutorials & practice papers. By the end of the course you should be able to: ? Prepare final accounts for sole traders and partnerships. ? Complete year-end adjustments such as depreciation accruals and prepayments. ? Record the purchase sale and other entries for fixed assets. ? Prepare budgets and cash-flows. ? Examine costs for making management decisions. ? Calculate VAT and prepare a VAT return. ? Use spread sheet software to produce charts graphs and other information. ? Know the importance of following ethical guidelines.
