The AAT accounting qualification gives the learner the opportunity to gain the theoretical knowledge and practical accounting skills at level 2 needed to carry out aspects of an accountancy job related role. The course is delivered in different ways and can be started at two points in a given academic year (September and February). This course is for you if you wish to start on the first stage of your mainstream AAT studies. The study programme will give successful students the skill and knowledge to work competently in a finance accounting or book-keeping role as well as the opportunity to progress their studies (subject to additional testing) to the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. The course covers the following areas *Processing bookkeeping transactions *Basic Costing *Work Effectiveness in Accounting and Finance *Computerised Accounting (Sage) *Control accounts journals and banking systems
