Are you interested in drawing, painting and collage? Would you like to learn how to combine these forms of media and more into beautiful pieces of art work? This is a hands-on course designed to open the eyes to a new range of materials and drawing techniques. If you would like to push the boundaries of collage and observation, this course will provide unusual methods for you to enjoy and experiment with. Create interesting textural backgrounds for more complex paintings, work with transfer techniques using found objects and use basic printing techniques too, all together in four weeks. Basic drawing materials: pencil, pens, sharpener, rubber, A4 or A3 cartridge paper sketchbook, tester pot of emulsion paint, string, tin foil, cling film, plastic straws, candle wax, newspaper, sticky tape.
