This workshop gives an introduction, to the basic principles and therapeutic approaches that can be used when counselling clients, with a learning disability, in a fun interactive way. Looks at what considerations there may be pre- therapy, such as attachment issues Gives a chance to practice necessary key skills. Also, to discuss what the professional and ethical considerations there may be for practicing in this area. Aims, to give learners the opportunity, to experience using materials that are suitable for working with clients who have a learning disability.
