Based at our Braintree Campus, the one year Level 2 Extended Certificate is a fantastic introduction to a range of performing arts and employability skills and all while you improve you gain a valuable Level 2 qualification worth 4 GCSEs. It has been designed with both education and vocation in mind and as such will develop practical skills and understanding of the performing arts for your future career alongside enabling access to higher study. This course is for those who wish to have a broad introduction to the performing arts. It is for students who are able to enjoy the discipline of group work as well as developing personal skills. Performing Arts students contribute to College life in a variety of ways and take part in high quality productions in all areas of theatre. In addition to your main programme you will study English and Maths. Depending on your grades on entry, you will study either Functional Skills or GCSEs English and Maths .
