Horticulture is a highly rewarding industry and this established course offers fascinating opportunities for the study of a broad range of disciplines ranging from landscape design to pest biology, garden history, crop production, mechanisation, and business management. You will be introduced to the scientific, technological and managerial principles upon which modern horticulture is founded. The opportunity for specialist study in an area of your choice is offered through the final year dissertation, and selection of an elective module in the second and final year. The course is validated by the University of Worcester but taught at Pershore College, a national centre of excellence for horticulture, utilising its extensive range of gardens, resources and other facilities.
