Information and Communication Technology has many facets and pervades the whole of society. It is no longer possible to get a job in which ICT will not be used to some extent. That being said this subject is designed to be of interest to you if you wish to study the uses of ICT in society, further your knowledge and use of ICT systems with a wide range of software. In particular you will develop your skills substantially in standard office applications and you will use these skills to solve a number of tasks for unit 2 in the first year and to create a software solution to a problem which will form your coursework assessment in unit 4 in the second.
