By studying A Level French you will develop and deepen your language skills and you will widen your appreciation of cultural aspects of France and other French-speaking countries. You will become a sought after member of the international community as a direct result of your enhanced language skills, there being a national shortage of competent linguists. French is a major language of both the EU and the UN and it is widely spoken across the world in more than 60 Francophone countries. You will have opportunities to put theory into practice and you will come into contact with native speakers of the language. There may be an opportunity for travel to France. If you are keen on language study, enjoy new social situations and you are prepared to speak, then A level French is for you.
