Apprenticeships are practical hands on programmes designed to provide you with relevant, practical training, which will enable you to progress within your chosen industry. Apprentices are paid a minimum of £2.68 an hour if they are under 19 or over 19 and still in the first year of their apprenticeship programme. You will be employed between 30 and 40 hours a week. Career opportunities linked to the Hospitality and Catering industry are continuing to expand. The college's excellent catering department works with employers to help develop the skills of trainee chefs and catering assistants.
