A2 Physical Education

Physical Education is about developing your understanding of the physiological and psychological aspects of sport, exercise and training. Sport is part of our culture and you will study a variety of social issues which reflect upon and illuminate the place of sport in national and international life. You will have the opportunity to reflect upon and improve yours and others' physical performance skills and will be encouraged to relate theory to practice.

Name: A2 Physical Education Qualification title: GCE A Level in Physical Education Qualification type: Assessment Students will sit a further written paper examining theoretical and synoptic knowledge (2 hours 30 mins). They will be assessed again in one of the practical activities they opted for in Y12. An additional Oral Response to a live performance will make up the final part of the A2 Assessment.
