This course is an introduction to creative photography and digital manipulation and you will receive a solid foundation in the technical skills used by industry professionals. You will be taught by experienced tutors using industry standard software and equipment. The course includes practical, theory and contextual work. You will be encouraged to take a broad view of photography and include elements of a range of Art and Design disciplines. The course is sectioned into focused projects aimed to link with business and designed to develop your abilities. These projects will also involve research, taught classroom and workshop sessions and self-reflection. Feedback will be given at all stages of your development. On completion of this course you could progress onto a range of Further or Higher Education programmes of study. There are also career opportunities across the digital sector around image handling, processing and manipulation. Fast-track to an apprenticeship If you can’t find the right apprenticeship vacancy or you want to do some studying first - no problem. You can start on a vocational study programme then once you’re ready and a vacancy becomes available, we’ll help you transfer on to an apprenticeship.
